    Description

    The Role

    Capellic is looking for a Coordinator, Digital Project Management with experience supporting teams in building large websites and providing ongoing support, ideally for nonprofits. Candidates must be capable of working independently/remotely, have good communications skills, play well with others, including developers, consultants, and clients. Candidates will be expected to bring creative solutions to the table so that we can deliver the best websites and services to our clients.

    As a Digital Project Manager: Associate Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management and smooth operation of various digital projects, online tools, and web applications. You will also be responsible for testing site functionality against requirements to ensure client needs are met. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations.

    The Capellic team works remotely. While we all love it, it does require that any new team member is able to provide their own workspace suitable for video conferences with clients (and each other), with minimal distractions. It also requires that all candidates should have excellent time management skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with account lead, Director of Operations and project management lead to develop overall project engagement strategy and work with discipline leads and project teams to execute on plans.
    • Accountable for schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood, executed upon, and met.
    • Ensure all weekly project status reports are completed on time.
    • Monitor day-to-day activities of the project team and ensure work is progressing as planned and raise issues and employ risk mitigation strategies in concert with project leads and supervisors when necessary.
    • Ability to work across several projects with one or more project manager(s) 
    • Identify needs that clients may not recognize and ensure approaches and solutions are linked to objectives and future needs.
    • Establish plans for project scope, critical path and baseline structures, project communication, hours/resource verification, and forecasting, risk analysis and mitigation, quality assurance, and closure.
    • Participate in quality assurance testing, including creating and executing test scripts to test product features and identify defects.
    • Document user procedures and other client training as needed.
    • Capture meeting notes, outcomes, and action items for the internal team and the client
    • Facilitate technical development by liaising between developers and clients regarding functional and technical requirements.

    Skill Requirements: Project Management

    • Minimum of two years of experience managing or supporting web-related projects.
    • Ability to coordinate clients, internal resources and third parties/vendors 
    • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
    • Ability to work with project teams and the operations team to ensure resource availability and allocation
    • Ability to develop detailed project plans to monitor and track project progress
    • Ability to manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project budget using appropriate verification techniques
    • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
    • Report and escalate problems and recommended solutions to management as needed
    • Ability to identify, document, and manage project risks
    • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
    • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs
    • Understanding of website redesigns and ongoing support

    Skills Requirements: Communication

    1. Use and continually develop leadership and communication skills
    2. Ability to attend conferences and/or training as required to maintain proficiency
    3. Awareness of advantages or disadvantages of varying communication tools such as email, Slack, etc. 

    Work Environment Requirements

    1. You live and work in the United States
    2. Able to work remotely with minimal supervision. 
    3. Must have workspace that allows applicant to be effective/focused and suitable for client-facing video conferences

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience working with nonprofits
    • Experience working at an agency
    • Experience with direct client communication
    • Familiarity with Agile project methodology
    • Familiarity with Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Service Desk, Monday.com, and Basecamp
    • Familiarity with open source content management systems; familiarity with Drupal even better

    Compensation

    The salary range for this position is $73,625 - $81,375

    Benefits for this position include health, vision, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) eligibility after one year, home internet stipend, and an allowance for conferences and training.
