    About Us

    Anthos|Home is a groundbreaking startup dedicated to housing vulnerable New Yorkers. We're seeking a passionate and experienced Operations Specialist - Finance to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of those in need of stable housing.

    The Role

    The Operations Specialist - Finance reports to the Operations Supervisor and will provide critical support to the Housing Acquisition and Tenant Coordination teams, assisting in administrative support. They will work closely with our external support firms, government agencies, nonprofits, landlords, and internal Anthos|Home team. We are looking for data enthusiasts, team-oriented and mission-driven individuals.

    Key responsibilities include the ability to

    • Process and manage property payments, including vacant unit agreements
    • Handle participant arrears, liaising with agencies and stakeholders as needed
    • Oversee broker and property owner communications for document submission
    • Facilitate efficient move-in processes and apartment matching
    • Maintain confidential tenant and landlord records
    • Create Salesforce reports and dashboards for project teams
    • Manage vendor relationships, including scheduling repairs and inspections
    • Coordinate unit furnishing, moving, and renter's insurance
    • Ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls
    • Collaborate with accounting partners on payment tracking and audits
    • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality
    • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

    Qualifications and Skills

    Bachelor’s degree, and if not, candidate must have three years or more of experience working in administrative or operations support role.

    • 3+ years in financial operations, housing/real estate experience preferred
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce) a plus
    • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
    • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills
    • Experience in apartment repairs or real estate management beneficial
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Passion for the organization's mission
    • Comfortable in diverse environments
    • Lease agreement management experience advantageous

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Competitive starting salary: $65,000-$70,000
    • Hybrid work environment (3-5 days in office/field per week)
