JOB SUMMARY: An experienced team builder and manager, the Clinical Director reports to the Executive Director. As a member of leadership team, contributes to and supports the strategic initiatives to ensure high quality, comprehensive behavioral health services are delivered in a comprehensive, collaborative manner with an emphasis on recovery and wellness. Provide leadership to ensure all aspects of the agency meet the highest standards for quality of care, ethics and compliance. Represents the agency and its programs in meetings with a wide range of community partners.

STATUS: This position is exempt, full time
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Represent agency in meetings with community partners and stakeholders
- Implement new initiatives across programs in alignment with OARs, CARF, and agency policies
- Collaborate with other members of Clinical Leadership to evaluate agency treatment service quality and outcomes
- Monitor and analyze data to determine behavioral health trends and needs; recommend program/service modification in response to identified needs
- Maintain current knowledge related to behavioral health services
- Lead a team of individuals with diverse strengths, backgrounds, and cultures
- Provide supervision to Clinical Managers and licensed clinical staff as assigned
- Provide direction and guidance to ensure individualized, evidence and research-based service delivery
- Demonstrate a high level of competence and problem-solving skills in risk management, therapeutic interventions, and person-centered treatment planning
- Demonstrate and ensure a high level of professionalism in boundaries
- Participate in and facilitate interdisciplinary clinical staffing
- Ensure that agency programs meet all contractual goals and funding requirements, assist in development of clinical narrative/outcome for grant reporting
- Facilitate clinical trainings
- Assist in development of staffing models, selection of clinical staff and evaluation of clinical work
- Communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external partners.
- Establish collaborative relationships with community partners,
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and prospective clients, families, community partners and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules, CARF, agency policies and procedures, including documentation standards and professional best practice standards of care.

Education/Licensure/Certification requirement:
- Master’s degree in related field; LPC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred
- CADC III, preferred
- Valid Oregon Driver’s license with clean driving record
