    Are you a creative, visionary leader with a knack for digital innovation and operational excellence? We're looking for a passionate Digital Experience and Operations Officer to drive our marketing and communications strategies to new heights. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our Marketing and Communications Manager to oversee daily operations, enhance digital engagement, and lead our Council's app launch and management.     What You'll Do

    • Strategic Marketing Leadership: Develop compelling marketing campaigns that attract new members and retain existing ones. Utilize core marketing principles to drive engagement and growth.
    • Website and Content Management: Oversee and maintain an intuitive, user-friendly website. Implement a streamlined process for content updates and management, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our brand.
    • App Development and Management: Lead the development, launch, and ongoing management of our Council’s app. Ensure it’s functional, user-friendly, and integrated with our marketing strategies. Manage updates, feature additions, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
    • SEO and Digital Engagement: Design and implement SEO strategies to boost our website’s search engine ranking. Use data-driven insights to enhance user experience and engagement.
    • Technology Oversight: Manage MarComm’s technology, including our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system and marketing automation tools, ensuring effective use and integration.
    • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on app and web performance metrics. Analyze user data to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
    • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and agencies to ensure high-quality deliverables and performance.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience: 3+ years in marketing with a strong background in developing strategies and creating online campaigns. Specialized experience in web content design is a must.
    • Education: Four-year degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite/Creative Cloud, video editing software, HTML, content management systems, and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager is preferred.
    • Creativity and Vision: A forward-thinking approach with a passion for innovative digital solutions and operational excellence.
    • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with strong editorial abilities.
    • Flexibility: Willingness to maintain a 9-5 work schedule with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends.
    • Transportation Access: Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within our Council region by car.
