    Position Title: Communications & Marketing Coordinator

    Location: 370 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10017

    Classification: Non-exempt, full-time

    Work Environment: Hybrid (one or two days a week in-office)

    Hourly Rate: $26.50 – $28.00 / hour

    Reporting To: Director of Communications

    Position Summary

    The Communications & Marketing Coordinator will be an exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, proactive, curious, and creative individual who will work across departments and organizations to advance and support all internal and external communications and marketing efforts. You will develop and refine the voices of Resolution and Enactus, owning all social media channels for Enactus Global, Enactus United States, and Resolution Project as well as developing content for a joint newsletter with tens of thousands of subscribers. You will also maintain and update three websites and participate in discussions on how best to integrate the communications and marketing efforts of Enactus & Resolution. 

    You must have a flexible schedule, be prepared to occasionally join meetings and conference calls earlier and later than regular business hours, including occasional weekends and be willing to occasionally travel to Resolution Social Venture Challenges, Enactus World Cups, and Enactus Expos, domestically and internationally. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Communications 

    • Support the Director of Communications in devising strategies for engaging Resolution & Enactus’ various stakeholders – people, ventures, programs, and events.
    • Coordinate, draft, design, and distribute stories and articles through external distribution channels (including resolutionproject.org, enactus.org, enactusunitedstates.org, social media, and newsletters) and internal distribution channels (including mail merges, team, and Board updates). 
    • Manage Resolution & Enactus’ communications calendar.
    • Develop campaigns in partnership with Development and Programs departments to support strategic goals, including fundraising and DEI, and develop toolkits for partners and volunteers to share out such campaigns.
    • Respond to new outreach quickly, reprioritizing current tasks and projects if something important and/or urgent comes along (such as a media request, critical press release, etc.).

    Content Development & Storytelling

    • Gather content that demonstrates the impact of young leaders around the world, the impact ecosystem, and Gen Z trends and culture.
    • Create, manage, and design content to enhance Resolution & Enactus’ social media presence strategically, grow our base of supporters, and ensure brand consistency across social media channels, including short, engaging, and creative videos, reels, and graphics.
    • Contribute to the annual report process, drafting the report and working with other team members to gather all relevant details. 
    • Create promotional materials for fundraising and for new programmatic efforts.

    Brand Management & Event Support

    • Maintain brand consistency across Resolution & Enactus, at times working with other members of staff to support their use of branded materials.
    • Update and monitor resolutionproject.org, enactus.org, and enactusunitedstates.org regularly.
    • Liaise with event speakers regarding their remarks and presentation needs; work with A/V vendors to deliver event programming effectively.

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    Qualifications

    • Two years of relevant professional experience.
    • Excellent writing skills, with an optimistic, inclusive, fresh, and authentic approach.
    • Experience in video and photo production.
    • An eye for design.
    • Organized with meticulous attention to detail and follow through.
    • Experience and success with a creative process that goes from idea to execution.
    • Experience collaborating with and coordinating across numerous and different stakeholders.
    • Proficient in social media platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok, & LinkedIn.
    • Creative and strategic thinker.

    • Proficient in Wordpress, Elementor, or other CMS administration (coding not required).
    • Self-reflective, optimistic, and aligned with Resolution and Enactus’ values.

    Preferred

    • Familiarity/experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
    • Familiarity/experience with Salesforce or other CRM (training available).
    • Experience founding/managing a small business/social venture.
