ACLU-KS is organizing to change our cash bail system at the county level. As a part of this project, we’re gathering community support for the issue. ACLU-KS is looking for a Canvass Manager to manage a team of up to five canvassers for a six week period between September 28 and November 10. The canvass program will engage community members door-to-door for their support for bail reform and to support voter turnout in the general election.
This is a contracted position who reports to the ACLU-KS Field Director. This position's responsibility is to lead the door-to-door canvass program for issue support on bail reform and support voter turnout for the general election. The Canvass Manager will work closely with the Field Director and Criminal Legal Reform Organizer to support training and coaching of canvassers, manage turf, and calculate canvassing outcomes.
