The American Civil Liberties Union Foundation of Georgia (ACLUF-GA) seeks to hire a full-time Paralegal. ACLUF-GA is the state affiliate of the national American Civil Liberties Union. Our mission is to preserve and expand the individual rights guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution, the Georgia Constitution, and related federal and state civil rights laws.
The Paralegal, supervised by the Legal Director, is a vital member of the Legal Department and directly contributes to the team’s efforts by providing critical administrative and litigation support to the legal director and all staff attorneys. He/she/they must be able and willing to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities include basic clerical and administrative support, assisting in litigation (particularly by helping to format and finalize legal documents), coordinating the legal intake process and conducting intake interviews, and working collaboratively and effectively as a team member to ensure that administrative needs are met.

The ACLU Foundation of Georgia offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package commensurate with experience and within the parameters of the ACLUF-GA’s compensation scale. The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000. A salary beyond that range may be considered for candidates with extensive experience. Excellent benefits include paid vacation, sick time, and holidays; medical, vision, and dental insurance; Flexible Spending Account; life and long-term disability insurance; and 401(k) Defined Contribution Retirement.
