The Parkinson’s Foundation is seeking a goal-oriented and self-motivated professional for the position of Development Manager for the Great Lakes Chapter. This position is responsible for supporting the Chapter team in implementing the mission through peer-to-peer fundraising events, corporate development, and volunteer development. The manager will cultivate partnerships and alliances that promote growth and awareness within the community and result in fundraising revenue to further initiatives to help make life better for people with Parkinson’s disease. The Great Lakes Chapter extends its services across Ohio and Michigan, offering a significant opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals affected by Parkinson's.
PEER-TO-PEER EVENTS:
MOVING DAY:
Moving Day is an inspiring and empowering annual fundraising walk event that has united more than 150,000 participants around the country living with PD, their care partners, and loved ones to fight Parkinson's. It is a celebration of movement – proven to help manage Parkinson's symptoms. Moving Day is among the largest Parkinson's events in the country and provides excellent brand exposure to thousands of people in the Parkinson's community.
PARKINSON’S REVOLUTION:
Parkinson’s Revolution is an indoor cycling event that raises funds and awareness for the Parkinson’s Foundation. The event happens for 1 day across the country and attracts indoor and outdoor cyclists who want to make a difference while breaking a sweat.
PARKINSON’S CHAMPIONS:
Parkinson’s Champions are volunteers who host their own community fundraising events or participate in endurance programs to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s disease (PD).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising – 70%
Chapter Development Support – 25%

COMPENSATION:
Salary for this position is competitive and depends on prior experience. In addition, a comprehensive benefits package is included. The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000.
