    The Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame is dedicated to honoring the achievements of Connecticut women, preserving their stories, and inspiring women and girls to realize their own limitless potential.

    Role Description (25-30 hours/week)

    The Education/Program Manager supports the Connecticut Women's Hall of Fame's (CWHF) educational programs, expanding audiences, and developing new content for diverse groups. This role includes delivering programs, building relationships with educators, planning events, and collaborating on funding initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver Connecticut women’s history programs at schools, libraries, historical societies, and other venues.
    • Plan and execute CWHF-sponsored educational events, such as regional STEMfems events.
    • Lead professional development workshops for K-12 educators and community partners.
    • Expand audiences for CWHF’s educational programs and create new content for various age groups.
    • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to promote CWHF programs and resources.
    • Work with the Development Manager on grant proposals, follow-up reporting, and tracking program impacts.
    • Assist with the Annual Induction Ceremony.
    • Perform other duties as needed

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Women's Studies, Museum Studies or related field
    • 3+ years of experience in education, preferably in both formal and informal setting.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong commitment to CWHF’s mission and women’s history/education
    • Education best practices, curriculum development, and evaluation expertise
    • Excellent communication, research, and event coordination skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Willingness to travel, especially during Women's History Month.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in email marketing, budget development, grant writing, and/or social media.
