This full time, exempt position reports to the CFO and is an onsite role at our Stockton street location.

General Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries
• Bank and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP Principles
• Assist with audits to ensure compliance
• Perform Month-end and year-end close
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Prepare financial statements
• Accounts payable processing
• Monthly reports and metrics generation
• Special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of broad accounting experience
• BS in Accounting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Nonprofit experience preferred but not required
• Quickbooks experience is a plus
• Concur experience is a plus

Your options will be covered in detail during onboarding at CARITAS. For PTO, you will receive 15 days, pro-rated to your start date, to use until June 30, after which time the number of PTO days follows years of service. You will also receive the standard CARITAS holiday schedule of days off.
