Position Overview
The Manager of Brand and Creative is responsible for developing graphic designs and creative assets that are cohesive with and enhance AV’s brand identity. Reporting to the Creative Director, the Manager will work closely with leaders and team members across the organization to align on priorities for creative deliverables, develop and manage the organization’s brand assets, and help manage outside vendor relationships and projects. This hands-on design role requires a deep understanding of brand compliance to help ensure cohesion across AV products and teams. The position will be based in our Washington, D.C. or New York offices.
Core Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop and refine the overall brand strategy and execute visual concepts that align with AV's brand identity in support of the organization’s mission.
• Design multimedia creative for marketing materials, publications, infographics, presentations, social media, websites, and video/motion graphics.
• Track project progress from concept to completion, ensuring brand integrity is maintained in every deliverable.
• Provide internal clients with design support and guidance across AV portfolios and the organization’s brand following an in-house agency model.
• Conduct research and stay informed on the latest creative trends to help improve creative strategies and potentially incorporate enhancements into AV’s brand assets.
• Help to enforce brand guidelines and maintain consistency across communications channels and ensure adherence to brand standards by internal and external stakeholders.
• Help to manage relationships with any outside vendors supporting creative projects.
• Track and analyze the performance of creative assets where applicable.
Minimum Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in design, branding, marketing, advertising or other creative roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, graphic design, communications or a related field.
• Successful track record of building or maintaining brand identities and creating design assets.
• Skilled in print and digital design including Adobe Creative Suite, with experience in video and motion graphics.
• Experience in brand identity management and development.
• Exceptional strategy development, project management, and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail.
• Experience in using Craft Content Management System or other CMS tools similar in functionality.

The salary range for this position will be $100,000-$140,000.
