LitArts RI is seeking an experienced Executive Director to help take the organization to the next level by leading our staff, growing our development efforts and supporting the Board. This is a fulltime position with benefits based at our Center in Providence, with some remote work possible.
ABOUT THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR ROLE
This is a role for someone who can roll their sleeves up to run a small organization while also being able to look up and reach out to inspire a community-wide excitement about the literary arts in our state. The ED need not be a creative writer but should be a fan of the literary arts.
The ED reports to the Board, leads daily operations, and helps the organization improve outreach, offerings, fundraising and Board development in accordance with its strategic framework. The ED will (in order of importance):

Has proven they can succeed as a nonprofit leader through making sure operations are smooth and the bottom line is solid. The salary range for this position is $85-100k depending on experience. Benefits include $500/month toward health insurance, paid holidays and vacation.
