  • About Us

Founded in New York City in 1957, Wurzweiler School of Social Work began as America's only graduate social work school under Jewish auspices in a university setting. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Council on Social Work Education. At Wurzweiler, our faculty are knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about social work. They are also passionate about your success. We are intentional about our small class size so that we learn your name, understand your strengths, and help you identify areas to work on. As a top social work school, we do not lecture; we nurture, support, and guide you. This is the Wurzweiler way.
