The learning environment is collaborative. Group work is a key part of academic life, encouraging students to work in teams and network across cultures - simulating and preparing you for the dynamics of the international job market.
Studies are taught one or two courses/modules at a time, over shorter periods (not all in parallel through the entire semester/year). This allows students to go deep into the specific subject areas and conclude with an exam or assignment before moving on to the next one or two courses/modules. A thesis project concludes the Master's programmes.
All Master's at Lund are well connected to the job market and also prepare you for PhD positions for those seeking to continue their research career.
The University is located in Lund - a charming, cobble-stoned, medieval "college" town, just 10 minutes by train from Sweden's 3rd largest city Malmo, and 40 minutes by train from Copenhagen, Denmark.
