Qualifications:
- M.A. in public administration, business, community/public health, or related field (or comparable experience)
- Familiarity with public health and development interventions
- Able to attend in person meeting in Providence, RI preferred, but not required.
- Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- High-quality writing and communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and reporting
- Fluency with French
- A commitment to global development
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and organizational skills
- The capacity to set goals, follow through, and be self-monitored
- Keen attention to detail
Job Description:
The Project Coordinator should be a highly motivated, organized, and committed individual. General Duties include:
- Ensuring all insurance, IRB, tax, and registrations (Rhode Island, SAM, Mali, etc.) are up to date
- Professionally representing the organization to partner organizations, funders, and the public
- Overall management of grant-funded projects in partnership with National Director and Project Managers
- Creating and managing documents, including but limited to grant project reports, annual reports for both the US and Mali, employee contracts, and research publications
- Producing grant applications in partnership with Communications Coordinator and National Director
- Working with Communications Coordinator to manage student volunteers and interns
- Overseeing all organization expenses in both the US & Mali and reporting to Finance Committee
- Working seamlessly with the Board of Director, Financial Consultants, Communications Coordinator, Project Managers, Scientific Director, and the National Director
- Producing a monthly expense reconciliation report for Mali project costs
- Ensuring monthly program data is input into tracking spreadsheet
- Bi-weekly progress reports and meetings with Interim Executive Director
- Bi-weekly payroll processing
- Quarterly presentations to the Board of Directors
- Quarterly meetings with board committees (Finance, Internal Affairs, and External Affairs)
- Other duties as needed
