    Description

    Healing House seeks a dynamic and creative Development Associate to join our team. Working closely with the Director of Development and Marketing + Communications Coordinator, the Development Associate will play a pivotal role in achieving the organization's development goals. This position requires a strategic mindset, excellent organizational skills, and managing multiple responsibilities, including donor stewardship, event coordination, volunteer management, data reporting, and working with grant writers.

    Position Summary: The Development Associate will support various efforts across the organization, including:

    Donor Stewardship: Acknowledging gifts and maintaining constituent records.

    • Assisting with annual solicitation and other large development mailings.
    • Collaborating with the Marketing Coordinator to prepare donor letters, proposals, and presentations.
    • Supporting donor proposals, reporting, and prospect research.
    • Developing and sustaining an Alumni Association as an extension of the aftercare program.
    • Support/learn CRM, donation platform and other development resource sites

     Event Coordination:

    • Planning, coordinating, and implementing logistics for events.
    • Maintaining the agency event calendar.
    • Monitoring event budgets and preparing reconciliation reports.
    • Assisting with coordinating facility rentals.
    • Collaborating with the team to develop promotional materials for events.

     Volunteer Coordination:

    • Identifying volunteer needs and conducting interviews and onboarding/training sessions.
    • Maintaining and improving the volunteer program.
    • Creating digital reports to track volunteer data and provide analysis.
    • Delivering communications to volunteers, including newsletters.
    • Managing community volunteer requests and tracking volunteer hours.

    Grant Management

    •  Work with our grant writing outside vendor to acquire key data for grant submissions.
    • Manage budget and scope of work with outside grant writing vendor
    • Track and help manage active grant requests/activity

    Job Type: Full Time

    Salary Range: $30,000 - 49,999
