    GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

    The Development Coordinator will provide comprehensive administrative, coordination, and office support to Lift Orlando’s Development team and actively contribute to the organization’s fundraising and development goals.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

     

    Administrative Support:

    • Assist the Development team with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking deadlines.
    • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of fundraising activities into the CRM system.
    • Generate regular reports on fundraising progress and donor activity for the Director of Development and other stakeholders.
    • Manage and maintain donor and fundraising databases (e.g., data entry, updates, and generating reports).
    • Manage correspondence and communications with donors, sponsors, and partners, including preparing and sending donor acknowledgments, thank-you letters, and year-end documentation.
    • Maintain and update donor records and ensure accurate tracking of contributions.

    Event Coordination:

    • Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, including logistical support, managing RSVPs, and coordinating volunteers.
    • Prepare event materials and collateral, including invitations, programs, and thank-you notes.
    • Support event day activities, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues.

    Grant Support:

    • Assist with research on potential grant opportunities.
    • Support preparing grant proposals and reports, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
    • Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of grant applications and reports.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of training and/or experience.
    • 2 years of experience in office administration, project, and/or event coordination.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Google Suite, or similar software.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • High level of organizational skills, resourcefulness, and time management skills.
    • Strong public speaking and presentation abilities.
    • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as external partners, donors, and vendors.
