The Cleantech Program Manager is responsible for managing events, providing program support, conducting a weekly energy price survey program, building relationships with members and prospects, updating databases, creating marketing and outreach materials, and working with committees. The candidate should be organized, attentive to detail, willing to learn, and have the ability to take initiative. Interest in clean energy & environmental policy is a necessity, as is familiarity with web-based systems. Experience with the Google Suite, Wix, Canva, Google Ads, and Little Green Light or other CRM software is useful. The position is one of two that reports to the Executive Director.
The Environmental & Energy Technology Council of Maine (E2Tech) is the state's leading energy, environmental, and clean technology business and economic development organization. E2Tech is a catalyst, a change agent, and a resource center that supports the robust and sustainable growth of the sector. E2Tech is funded through annual dues and other support from over 200 member institutions and sustainers active in the environmental or energy sectors. Additional support comes from program income and from federal and state agencies, foundations and individual donors.

This position allows opportunities for career growth and the opportunity to influence some of Maine’s most important environmental & energy projects and programs. This is a hybrid position based out of Portland, ME, with occasional travel in southern and central Maine for events, so access to a car is needed.
Compensation: $46-52,000 annually for 40 hours/week with a cafeteria plan that can be applied to healthcare, student loans, retirement account. 15 days of PTO (vacation + sick leave) + federal holidays.
