The Healing Center Studio Manager is a full time position that will support the mission and vision of Integrative Touch by executing the goals and objectives that facilitate the success of the Integrative Touch Healing Center. They will provide excellence in managing the Healing Center team in alignment with the core values of our comprehensive non profit community center. High level organization and communication skills are necessary to motivate, inspire, and connect people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. This position will be jointly overseen by the VP of Programs and Community Wellness and the VP of Operations and Philanthropy. Operations run Wednesday through Sunday.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support customer relationship initiatives and publicity plans for wellness programs
- Create and manage schedules to ensure proper coverage and service levels
- Assist with Standard Operating Procedures and train team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, & high quality guest service as well as compliance with labor & sanitation laws
- Be approachable, composed, professional, and customer focused with an ability to anticipate guest needs and communicate professionally with kindness while solving guest problems or in working with our Interns, Volunteers, and other employees.
- Stock supplies, equipment, maintain cleanliness, manage inventory and purchasing
- Run reports for insurance, billing, accounting, operations & handle point of sale transactions
- Assist in promotion of classes, treatments, workshops and other healing center operations
- Assist in the coordination, planning, scheduling, and play a supporting role in the facilitation of health and wellness services
- Assist with budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports for the financial management of the center, with an understanding of key performance indicators
- Maintain confidential information, including credit card and HIPAA protected information
- Interact with guests to obtain feedback, and review guest feedback with employees to improve guest satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with all Integrative Touch employees, volunteers, interns, and community partners
- Hire, orient, supervise, and evaluate employees, filling non-specialized roles in absences
Administrative:
- Maintain the accuracy of client files, accident and illness reports, and other records required by Integrative Touch, City, State, and Federal laws.
- Maintain and secure proprietary and confidential information regarding clients, staff, volunteers, interns, and Integrative Touch at all times
- Promote and organize family events in collaboration with the VP of Programs and Community Wellness, and other Healing Center staff
- Perform administrative duties such as answering the center phone, collecting payments, accepting and/or providing families with requested forms, and overseeing volunteers who help with specific tasks
- Ensure customer service excellence in managing client scheduling and billing experiences.
- Perform additional job-related duties, special projects, and tasks as assigned by direct supervisor or Integrative Touch management
Education and Experience:
- Two years experience as operations director, studio manager, medical front office manager, Spa/Hospitality Manager, Childcare Director, or similar management/supervisory position
- Experience volunteering, wellness fields, and/or recruiting
- Working knowledge of databases and office software, including MS Word/Google Docs, Excel/Google Sheets, Gmail, Drive, and Powerpoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse people across teams while maintaining a pleasant, professional, and organized demeanor
- First Aid and child/adult CPR certification (within 60 days of hire)
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to move light objects weighing less than 20 pounds short distances.
- Ability to use eyes, hands, and fingers accurately while operating a computer keyboard
