POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Development Director leads the Development Team, which includes the Development and Fundraising Manager, Grants Manager and Grant Writer. The Development Director reports to the Executive Directors and supports them in setting and managing organizational strategies for fundraising, grant oversight, and grant making.
This position is also responsible for managing a portfolio of WAISN community subgrantees and in charge of cultivating relationships to ensure our values are reflected in the process beyond the dollar support. The Development Director will be part of the senior leadership team of WAISN and therefore in charge of modeling and creating a management culture in accordance with WAISN’s mission, values and analytical frameworks. This is a team in formation and adaptability will be key.

COMPENSATION. This is a full time position. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually for full-time work, contingent on experience and mastery of written and spoken languages beyond English. VACCINE POLICY. In an effort to maintain a safe and healthy workplace, WAISN requires all current staff members and contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. WAISN defines "fully vaccinated" as having received either 1 dose of the Johnson&Johnson or 2 doses of the Moderna or Pfizer administered vaccines. All new personnel must present proof of COVID-19 vaccination card to the Personnel Success Manager upon request. Exceptions to the vaccine mandate include religious reasoning and health concerns.
