    Description

    We are looking for a finance manager with 5+ years experience [CA must] for Delhi

    Reporting to (Position): Sr. Manager. Finance

    Reported By: Program Officer/ Facilitator, AM, DM

    Educational Qualifications- CA/MBA (Finance)

    Job Description- Responsibilities included and not limited to -

    1. Managing Accounts and Finance of the organization

    Independently manage books of account through overall supervision and management of books of accounts, regular work of voucher entries, checking and approval in accordance with accounting policy and practices, bring in efficiency, ensure cash flow as

    per the program projections, project management in accordance with donor mandate, timely investment of funds, contributing proactively for timely closing of books and preparation of statements like balance sheet etc. Supervise the record of vouchers.

    2. Budgeting

    Prepare budget and support program team on creation of new plans/budgets and head of finance on creation of organisation budget. Ensure monitoring of budget utilization so that all financial transactions are as per the approved grant budget. Coordinate with different departments for effective and efficient use of grants and support fund raising team on donor related requirements.

    3.Compliance

    Knowledge of all laws, and statutory obligations applicable to NGO, FCRA organization, and ensure compliance to the same. Preparation of compliance report for GC.

    4. Audit

    Prepare to be audit ready for Internal Audit, and Statutory Audit, coordination with audit teams, ensure timely completion of audits and respond to the observations, follow the action points.

    5. ERP

    A good experience of working with software, understand the processes, coordinate with the vendors for constant improvement in the system.

    6. Policy Making and Setting Systems and Processes

    Be actively involved in reviewing existing policy to incorporate organizational changes as well as to incorporate changes in external environment related to taxation and government compliances. Setting and following systems to bring in efficiency and make implementation of policy a smooth process.

    7. Grant and Project Management

    Good knowledge of grant management, including due diligence, follow up, auditing of partners, system of financial control over the grants made; Keep track of donor funds, management of MOUs, and timely submission of UCs, and managing relationship with donors.

    8. Team Management

    Experience of managing a team of 6- 7 team members, getting work done, keep a positive work environment and help team members grow and keep them motivated.

    Important key skills required-

    • This person possesses leadership capabilities, solid operational and technical accounting background and works proactively to drive results.
    • This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment. Ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple priorities. Working knowledge of any ERP.
    • Adept in Process Improvements, Accuracy, Verbal and Written Communication, Collaboration, analysis etc.
    • The candidate should be flexible to work extra hours during exigencies. Prior experience in working with Non-Profit Organization would be highly desirable
